This policy applies to visitors to growthmarketingco.com and our related landing pages and funnels, including rankangel.growthmarketingco.com; to people who submit our inquiry forms; to our clients; and to recipients of our marketing communications. It does not apply to websites or landing pages we operate for our contractor clients under their own brand, which are governed by those clients' own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of personal information:

  • Contact Information: First and last name, email address, telephone number, industry or business type, and the content of your inquiry.
  • Financial Information: Where you have given your consent, we may obtain soft credit data through pre-screening. This may include credit score (VantageScore 4.0 or equivalent), available credit limits, verified annual income, outstanding debt and debt-to-income ratio, verified current address, and age. Any such data is obtained in compliance with FCRA regulations — see Section 3.
  • Usage Data: IP address and approximate location, device type, operating system, browser, pages viewed, time on page, referring and exit pages, and cookie identifiers.

We do not collect Social Security Numbers, and none is required for the credit pre-screening described in this policy.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information through:

  • Direct Interactions: When you provide information by filling out forms on our website or communicating with us by email, phone, or in meetings.
  • Automated Technologies: Through cookies and similar tracking technologies as you interact with our website — see Section 12.
  • Third Parties: From partners and service providers who assist us in delivering our services, publicly available sources including business registries, and advertising platforms where you have interacted with our advertising.
  • Credit Pre-Screening: We may collect financial data through a soft credit pull authorized under the FCRA for the purpose of determining financial qualifications. This is described in full below.

Please read carefully

The section below describes a material processing activity involving consumer credit information.

Credit Pre-Screening in Detail

What happens. Where you have given us your express written consent, we may use a third-party service provider, LeadFi, to obtain a soft credit pre-screen based on the contact details you submit. LeadFi matches the name, email address, and telephone number you provide against records held by the three nationwide consumer reporting agencies — Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax — and returns the financial information listed in Section 2.

This is a soft inquiry. A soft pull appears on your credit file as an inquiry visible only to you, is not visible to lenders, and will not affect your credit score or harm your credit in any way whatsoever. No Social Security Number is required or used. We are not a lender, we make no credit decisions, and we do not approve or deny any application for credit or financing.

Why we do it. Any soft credit pull we conduct is strictly for the purpose of financial qualification, as permitted by FCRA regulations — specifically, to determine whether our services are a commercial fit and to prioritize our response to inquiries.

Your consent, and how to withdraw it. We will only obtain a pre-screen where you have given us your express written consent, and giving that consent is always optional. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at hello@growthmarketingco.com; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out beforehand. You may also decline the pre-screen entirely and still inquire about our services — call (303) 968-2741 or email us rather than using the website form.

Deletion. Where we obtain consumer report information, we delete it within 90 days.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

(Use and Processing of Collected Information)

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To provide and manage our services effectively, and to respond to your inquiry.
  • Personalization: To tailor our services to your preferences and assess whether they suit your business.
  • Communication: To send updates, newsletters, and marketing materials, where permitted.
  • Compliance: To adhere to legal obligations, including FCRA compliance for credit pre-screening.
  • Security: To detect and prevent fraud and misuse of our website, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Note that under some legislations, we may be allowed to process information until you object to such processing (by opting out), without having to rely on consent or any other of the following legal bases below. In any case, we will be happy to clarify the specific legal basis that applies to the processing, and in particular whether the provision of Personal Information is a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract. You further understand that this is a soft pull and will not harm your credit in any way whatsoever.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you without human review.

5. Consumer Rights

Under U.S. state privacy laws

  • Right to Know: You can request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
  • Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to Correct: You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out.
  • Data Portability: You can request a copy of your personal information in a portable, commonly used format.
  • Right to Appeal: If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
  • Non-Discrimination: You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

The rights available to you depend on your state of residence and on whether the relevant state privacy law applies to us. Where a right above is not available to you by law, we will still consider your request wherever we reasonably can. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

Categories collected in the preceding 12 months: identifiers; commercial information; internet and network activity; and approximate geolocation. Where you consent to the credit pre-screening described in Section 3, we will also collect financial information in the form of consumer credit data.

Under FCRA

Where we obtain consumer report information about you as described in Section 3:

  • Access to Credit Data: You can request information about your credit data collected during the pre-screening process, and which agency supplied it.
  • Dispute Inaccuracies: You have the right to dispute any inaccuracies in your credit information and request corrections, directly with the agency — Experian (experian.com/disputes), TransUnion (transunion.com/credit-disputes), or Equifax (equifax.com/personal/credit-report-services).
  • Adverse Action Notice: If we take adverse action against you based in whole or in part on consumer report information, we will provide notice of that action, the name and address of the agency that supplied the information, a statement that the agency did not make the decision, and notice of your right to obtain a free copy of your report and dispute its accuracy.
  • Free Annual Report: You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report every 12 months from each nationwide agency at annualcreditreport.com.
  • Purpose Disclosure: Any soft credit pull we conduct is strictly for the purpose of financial qualification, as permitted by FCRA regulations.

We are not a consumer reporting agency, we are not a lender, and we make no credit decisions.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@growthmarketingco.com or call (303) 968-2741. We will verify your identity before responding and will reply within 45 days. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your personal information with:

  • Service Providers: Third parties who assist us in providing our services — including LeadFi (lead qualification and credit pre-screening, where you have consented), our customer relationship management and marketing automation platform, our email and text message delivery providers, our website analytics providers, and the advertising platforms we use.
  • Consumer Reporting Agencies: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax, via LeadFi, where a pre-screen is carried out.
  • Legal Obligations: Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
  • Professional Advisers: Attorneys, accountants, and auditors, where necessary.

Soft credit pull data is shared only with authorized entities in compliance with FCRA regulations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share your mobile telephone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. All service providers act under written contracts requiring them to protect your information and use it only on our instructions.

You may request the identity of any specific service provider by contacting us at hello@growthmarketingco.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

In practice, how long that is depends on the nature of our relationship with you and whether it is ongoing; whether we still need the information to provide or improve our services; whether we are required to keep it to comply with a legal, tax, or accounting obligation; and whether we may need it to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

Consumer report and credit information is an exception: where we obtain it, we delete it within 90 days, regardless of any other retention consideration in this policy.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, consistent with FCRA requirements and generally accepted data protection standards. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting access to personnel who need it.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant state authorities as required by applicable breach-notification law.

9. Where We Process Your Information

We are located in the United States, our services are intended for businesses in the United States, and we process personal information here. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Text Message (SMS) Communications

Where you have given express written consent, we may send you text messages about our services and offers.

  • Message frequency: up to 5 messages per week
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time
  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact hello@growthmarketingco.com

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell or share your mobile telephone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

12. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, understand how it is used, and measure and target our advertising.

  • Strictly necessary: Site functionality and security.
  • Analytics: Understanding how the site is used.
  • Advertising: Measuring and targeting our advertising.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when a cookie is set. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website functions.

We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website and updating the date above. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the website before they take effect.
